Now more than ever people are trying to find their inner peace to get through the day. I hope you find these tips to be useful and helpful for you to find tranquility and calm in these difficult and uncertain times.

  1. Walk every day outside for a minimum of 15 minutes. Really take time to enjoy the flowers, the birds, the beautiful green grass and anything else you can find beauty from.
  2. Limit t.v. watching to 10 minutes a day.
  3. Try to cook a new recipe.
  4. Clean out the hall closet or any closet that you may be putting off tidying up.
  5. Give away at least 5 items from your closet.
  6. Read a new book in the next 2 weeks.
  7. Try and Meditate for 5-10 minutes in the morning. Be still and just enjoy the quiet alone time. Allow for your body to just breathe and quiet all the outside distractions.
  8. Plant a garden, if you don’t have room outside buy an indoor plant.
  9. Try a new workout. Online there are tons of great workout videos.
  10. Call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while.
  11. Go bird watching.
  12. Play a joke on your loved ones a few times in a week. Laughter truly is the best medicine.
  13. Play a card game (Poker, War, Old Maid)
  14. Play a Tik Tok joke on a loved one. There are so many to choose from.
  15. Throw away old papers in your file box, straighten up your desk. I hope you find these tips to be useful and bring down your stress level. Make sure you take time to enjoy the little things in life. Walking outside in nature always seem to destress my busy working mom day.
