Now more than ever people need to find their own from of peace. You have the power to control how you feel each and everyday. Be mindful of your thoughts it is the most important part of one’s psyche. Mindfulness fights depression and anxiety. Here are 15 ways you can find peace in your life.
1 – Walk every day outside for a minimum of 15 minutes (set a timer) Find peace in nature.
2- Limit tv watching to 10 minutes a day.
3- Try to cook a new recipe
4- Clean out the hall closet or any other messy closet you have been putting off for a rainy day. Just do it!
5- Give away at least 5 items from your closet.
6- Read a new book in the next 2 weeks. ( I just read The Life- Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing) by Marie Kondo ~ Excellent reason to clean up the house!
7- Try and Meditate for 5-10 minutes in the morning.
8- Plant a garden, if you don’t have room buy an indoor plant
9- Try a new workout
10- Call Someone you haven’t spoken to in awhile
11- Go bird watching (Believe it or not, this is very relaxing)
12- Play a joke on your loved ones a few times in a week- Laughter can bring a family together.
13- Play a card game (Poker, Old Maid, War)
14- Play a Tik Tok joke on a loved one
15- Throw away old papers in your file box, straighten up your desk
